Day 1
Alice Springs to devils marbles
Your tour begins as we pass the Tropic of Capricorn. Visit the Devils Marbles, a site sacred to its traditional owners. We pass through Tennant Creek for lunch (own expense) and continue on to Daly Waters. A visit to the Top End would not be complete without a visit to the famed Daly Waters pub, a quintessential outback roadhouse and 'watering hole' for travelers from all over. Mataranka lies in the heart of the 'never-never', and this remote area will make you feel a million miles from anywhere as you soak in the steamy thermal springs.

Day 2
Katherine Gorge to darwin
Spend the morning at Katherine Gorge canoeing or cruising (at own expense and seasonal) on the spectacular waters. There is also the option to jump aboard a helicopter flight (at own expense) which will take you high above the vast gorge system. We'll head to Darwin after a stop at idyllic Edith Falls. Overnight dorm accommodation in Darwin included. (BL)

Day 3
Darwin to Mary River
Start your day with checking out the waterfalls of Litchfield National Park. After we have lunch we head to the spectacular Mary River Wetlands, where birds aren't the only wildlife abundant; keep a watch for lurking crocodiles on our private river cruise! We will stay overnight at a campsite in the Mary River Region. (LD)

Day 4
Mary River to Kakadu
View spectacular rock art from the Aboriginals when we reach Ubirr. Climb to the top of a rocky lookout for fabulous views over the Nardab floodplain. Next it's on to Maguk (Barramundi Gorge), where a hike is rewarded with a reviving swim in the plunge pools. Tonight we stay at our permanent camp within Kakadu National Park. (BLD)

Day 5
Kakadu to Darwin
Get amongst some 4WD thrills today on our way to Jim Jim Falls! We will hike to the base of the falls before continuing on to Twin Falls. Take in the beauty of the stunning gorge and powerful falls from the National Park operated boat and boardwalk experience. We will visit the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre this afternoon, where you can learn about local Indigenous culture. View the impressive scenery which continues as we journey back to Darwin in the afternoon. (BL)
