Begin your adventure early this morning as we travel the beautiful coastal road, across the Daintree River and into the World Heritage listed Daintree Rainforest. We carry on over the verdant heights of the controversial Bloomfield track to Cooktown where you’ll have the chance to shop for souvenirs in the original colonial era shops.

Lakefield National Park, Musgrave
Explore Cooktown’s rich history today as we visit Cook’s landing place, and the century old cemetery. We then travel via Battle Camp Ranges and Old Laura Station and Lakefield National Park. View the Musgrave pioneer telegraph station for a taste of outback history before retiring to the Roadhouse for the night.

Coen, Archer River, Weipa
We travel via historic Coen then through Mungkan Kaanju National Park and across Piccaninny Plains to the bauxite-mining town of Weipa on the Gulf of Carpentaria.

Wenlock River, Moreton Station
This morning take a tour of Weipa Mine area (own expense). After lunch we travel through huge cattle runs to arrive at the Wenlock River. Time for a nature walk on established trails along this lightly forested waterway.

Fruitbat Falls, Jardine River, Punsand Bay
Enjoy a challenge today with a 4WD adventure passing streams and traversing rugged terrain before reaching our destination - Picturesque Fruitbat Falls on the Elliot River. Enjoy lunch with time for a swim afterwards. Explore the fascinating waterfalls and rock pools that can be found here. This afternoon we cross the Jardine River, followed by a short visit to Bamaga Aboriginal and Islander settlement.
Three Nights Accommodation: Punsand Bay Camping Resort
Early morning cruise through the islands of the Torres Strait to legendary "T.I." or Thursday Island, which is now "Capital" of the scattered islander communities between Australia and New Guinea. You will have ample time for sightseeing, souvenir shopping, perhaps a conducted bus tour (own cost, as is lunch & extra ferry transfers to Horn Island).
Cape York, Somerset
At last we reach the very tip of the continent and explore one of the world's last few wilderness areas! Cape York is rich in Aboriginal culture and is a contrast of red outback roads to wetlands and prehistoric rock art. Today we visit the ruins of Somerset, (road conditions permitting) with pristine beaches and rocky headlands.
Seisia, Commence Sea Leg, "Barge Day"
Today's highlight is the Seisia wharf, where the cargo ships from Cairns disgorge their cargo of fuel, building materials, and everything needed by the island and local communities. At 80 meters and over 3000 tonnes the Trinity Bay is the largest cargo ship servicing the Torres Strait communities.
Great Barrier Reef Marine Park
Spend the day in total relaxation as you enjoy the company of the crew and your fellow travel companions and travel through the World Heritage reef. The Great Barrier is world renowned for its natural beauty, and hundreds of islands and coral reefs waiting to be explored.
On arrival at Trinity Wharf your tour concludes when we return you to your pre-arranged accommodation. Your tour concludes in Cairns where you are free to explore the contrast of beaches and national parks that surround the city.
