Swim with wild tuna
Your adventure begins from Adelaide as we catch the first ferry from Wallaroo at 8am. An early start means we make the most of our 3 days on the Eyre Peninsula. Admire the sunrise as we cruise across the Spencer Gulf from the Yorke Peninsula to Lucky Bay. Next we make our way down to Port Lincoln for lunch before enjoying a 3 hour adventure on board a luxury catamaran.
Your first wildlife encounter begins after a short 15 minute cruise to the world class tuna pontoon. Equip yourself with a wetsuit, fins and snorkel and head into the water to hand feed and swim with the Blue Fin Tuna – one of the fastest fish in the world. Discover the underwater observatory featuring Snapper, Salmon, Morwong, Mulloway, Sweep and many more. Enjoy touching and watching the different marine species in our touch pond.
Later you can relax on an informative cruise across Boston Bay and the Township of Port Lincoln. We then head to the historic homestead of Mikkira Station to see the only Koalas on the Eyre Peninsula. (LD)
Great white shark cage diving
Today be prepared for a once in a lifetime wildlife encounter - Shark Cage Diving with the Great Whites! We rise early this morning for the chance to see the ultimate marine predator in its natural habitat at the Neptune Islands. For those who are daring, you will spend a minimum of 30 minutes in the cage. Sharks are also visible from the boat.
For others who prefer not to participate, head out to Whalers Way Conservation Park to witness stunning coastlines and possibly spot kangaroos and emus. Next we enjoy a bush walk at Port Lincoln National Park and then on to Glen Forest Wildlife Park to have lunch and visit the wildlife up close. You even get to hand feed some of the animals. Later we make our way back to our accommodation in Port Lincoln. (BLD)
swim with the sea lions
On our last day of touring we head to the Marina and Hopkins Island. Today’s wildlife encounter is one of Australia’s most unique. Swim and snorkel with the friendly sea lions as they play and show off to you!
At 4.30 this afternoon we will board the ferry in Lucky Bay and head back to Wallaroo before arriving in Adelaide where our adventure comes to an end. (BL)
