Kayaking in Australia With thousands of miles of coastlines, inland rivers and picturesque gorges to explore, kayaking is one of the best ways to combine exercise with sightseeing. Those of you that are seeking adventure may choose to sea kayak the infamous Byron Bay surf, whilst those seeking to explore may prefer to paddle through the gorges of the Katherine River in the Northern Territory. Below are a few of our favourite adventures that we think you would love to experience also.

Fed by springs and soaks throughout the long 'Dry Season', the river below the Gorge, winds through rocky banks, paper bark forests, small rapids and pandanus channels. Comfortable bush camping, great dining, fantastic service and wildlife encounters - it all adds up to being a unique experience. A trip you will never forget. More
