Kakadu National Park & Arnhem Land - Northern Territory

Kakadu is nature at its most dramatic. The secret of getting the best out of Kakadu is to spend at least two days there.

Nature took millions of years to create it, Aboriginal people and their culture have thrived there for 40,000 years.

It isn’t possible, in a quick trip, to experience what makes it special. The World Heritage listed Kakadu National Park lies 200km east of Darwin and covers 22,000 sq km in all.

Renowned attractions include Nourlangie Rock and Ubirr rock, Yellow Water billabong, sandstone escarpment and the thundering waterfalls Jim Jim and Twin falls.

Cruises on the South Alligator River and the Yellow Waterwetlands will reveal many of the 275 species of birds found in the park and Estuarine (Saltwater) Crocodiles in their natural environment.

Arnhem Land occupies nearly 100,000 sq km of remote, pristine wilderness owned by the Aboriginal people. Arnhem Land is culturally strong, remote, pristine, easy to get to and has some of the best adventure fishing in the world!
