Fraser Coast - Queensland
Just 3 hours north of Brisbane lies Hervey Bay, from where you can embark
on an exploration of two World Heritage sites - Fraser Island and the southern
Great Barrier Reef. Fraser Island is the world’s largest sand island,
providing a wide range of experiences from rainforest trekking to swimming
crystal clear lakes to four wheel driving miles of sandy beaches. A wide

Hervey Bay is also famous for its fantastic marine life, especially from
August to November when visitors can see first hand, the giant Humpback whales
at play in Platypus Bay.

The immense subtropical range
of cool, green rainforest, eucalypt forests and woodlands is home to
the world's largest forest of bunya pines. High altitude grasslands include
