Victoria

Victoria is a state of great diversity and one blessed with tremendous heritage and outstanding natural attractions.

Victoria is Australia’s smallest mainland state. Melbourne is a city of 3.7 million people, and visitors will soon discover its elegance and charm.

The climate is temperate: Melbourne enjoys four distinct seasons giving it a more European atmosphere.

Summer (Dec - Feb) can be very warm with an average temperature of 25°C max, 14°C min. Spring (Sep - Nov) and Autumn (Mar - May) have comfortable day temperatures with cool evenings.

Clothing: cotton and lightweight clothes for the summer, in the winter lightweight wool clothes with a jacket or packable raincoat.

Victoria has more than its fair share of natural phenomena, lush countryside, temperate rainforests, a stunning wilderness coast, breathtaking inland lakes and the spectacular Great Ocean Road.
