Depart Adelaide and head to the town of Port Augusta. This town is known as the crossroads where the roads from Adelaide, the Flinders Ranges, Alice Springs and Perth all intersect. Once in Port Augusta, the day is yours to spend as you wish. Visit the Wadlata Outback Centre for a look into the history of the Flinders Ranges and South Australian Outback. Alternatively, take a walk around the Australian Arid Lands Botanic Gardens for a look at outback plant and birdlife. Stay 2 nights.

Port augusta to gawler ranges
Experience a wilderness adventure in Wudinna where you will be venturing into the Gawler Ranges National Park. See an amazing diversity of wildlife and the vastness of the outback on this day tour. Be amazed by the contrast of landscapes from the red sands of the outback to the rocky gorges. Keep an eye out for the 3 large species of Kangaroos which are often spotted in the Park.
Gawler ranges to ceduna
Today, you will make your way to Ceduna where you will enjoy Ceduna’s Encounter Walking Trail. This 3.6km trail that begins at the Ceduna Sailing Club and heads to Pinky Point Lookout - located in nearby Thevenard. With splendid views over Thevenard's port area, Murat Bay and Saint Peter's Island, Ceduna's Encounter Walking Trail is an excellent way to get some exercise and pass a couple of hours or so. Just remember the return journey is just under 8 kilometers. Overnight in Ceduna.

Ceduna to Eucla
Before leaving Ceduna, embark on a scenic flight over farmlands to Laura Bay. Then, follow the coast past St Peters Island, the Port of Thevenard, and the Ceduna Township to Point Peter. Return to Ceduna over the mangrove swamps of Davenport Creek and Denial Bay. Once back on the road, journey across one of the straightest stretches of road in Australia – the Nullarbor Plain. Arrive in Eucla, near the border between South and Western Australia. Overnight.

Eucla to norseman
Travel to the old gold mining town of Norseman, discovered by Laurie Sinclair who named the site after his horse. It is surrounded by beautiful, dense eucalypt bush land, with ancient rock outcrops and large salt lakes nearby. Enjoy the breathtaking views from Beacon Hill, feast on a barbeque at Dundas Rocks, or view the historical collection. Beacon Hill is a 2km drive from the town center with spectacular panoramic views in every direction and a rustic information hut that provides you with history of Norseman, a directional dial and beautiful bush timber seats from which to enjoy the views. A scenic walk trail meanders down from the eastern side of the hill through peaceful bushland and back up on the western side. Overnight.
Norseman to Esperance
Journey to Esperance and Cape Le Grand National Park - one of the few places in Australia where kangaroos sunbake on the beach. Take the time to relax and unwind in paradise at one of the many idyllic beaches where you can go swimming, bush walking, fishing. Overnight.

Esperance to Albany
Drive to Albany and relax in the beautiful Princess Royal Harbor and King George Sound which surround the City of Albany. The town is renowned for its history, whales and dramatic coastline, as well as the breathtaking island and ocean views from Mount Clarence and Mount Melville. Indulge in local wines and produce in gourmet restaurants or from the farm gate. Explore local galleries, absorb the city’s unique history or take a tranquil bush walk in one of the national parks. Overnight.

Just north of the Margaret River is Busselton. Today is free for you to explore. Perhaps dive the HMAS Swan Dive Wreck – one of the most popular dive wreck sites in Australia. All kinds of fish and marine animals have made the wreck their home including schools of bulls eye fish, King George whiting, Samson fish, blue devil and sweep. Or, stay dry at the Underwater Observatory at the end of the jetty. All activities are at your own cost today. Finally head to Perth where your Nullarbor adventure ends.
