Depart Adelaide on a tour to the picturesque wine region of McLaren Vale. Experience a range of wineries, set in the most beautiful scenery. Wineries include Wirra Wirra, d’Arenberg, Coriole and the historic Hardy’s winery. Other attractions include the Olive Grove and Medlow Fine Gels. Later, enjoy lunch at the Flying Fish Café and travel on the beach up to the Mouth of the River. Stop off at the scenic lookouts in search of the Southern Right Whales that visit our shores with their newborn calves from June onwards. Once in Victor Harbor, ride on Australia’s only horse-drawn tram along the causeway, which links the mainland to Granite Island. See the fascinating fairy penguins through an interpretive center or view them at dusk as they make their way back to the island. Head back to Adelaide for the night.
Adelaide to Kangaroo Island
Today you will be transferring by coach and ferry over to the beautiful Kangaroo Island. Amazing scenery and an abundance of wildlife await you on this 2 day adventure. You will visit Clifford’s Honey Farm, take a guided tour of Seal Bay, view the spectacular Birds of Prey free-flight show and watch pelican-feeding at Kingscote.

Flinders Chase National Park
On day 2 of Kangaroo Island we visit Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery, spot koalas at Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctury and feed kangaroos at Parndana Wildlife Park. Later, we explore Flinders Chase National Park - a center for wildlife experiences. We explore the wind-sculpted granite outcrops of Remarkable Rocks before seeing a colony of New Zealand fur seals at Admirals Arch. This evening, we make our way back to the mainland at Cape Jervis and then north to Adelaide.

Spend the morning exploring the city before you depart Adelaide. Adelaide is named as the country's most livable city. Visit the fantastic cafes and try out the different cultured food in this diverse city. Your southern self-drive experience ends this afternoon in Adelaide.
