Devonport to Cradle Mountain
Be prepared for another action packed day today as you will be whitewater rafting on the Mersey River. Because the Mersey River is hydro-released water, it is the most reliable white water course in Tasmania. Be thrilled by the challenging rapids on the 90 minute course, situated 85km south of Devonport. Even have a go at steering the raft yourself! Continue south to Cradle Mountain for 3 nights.

Today you will spend another day in the beautiful Cradle Mountain region and the home of the famous Overland Track. Today you will drive to Launceston where your Cradle Country adventure ends. Take your time to explore the Tamar Valley wine region, or take a stroll through the urban reserve known as Cataract Gorge.
