The transparent water of the pool is beautiful on a clear day and is home to the huge rock formations known as ‘Elephant Rocks’ that rest in the water. Pass through Denmark on the way to Albany; this beautiful harbor is best seen from the top of Mt Clarence, near the main port area. Enjoy a night in the pristine Karri forest in Albany before heading towards the rugged southern coastline. Overnight.

Venture north to experience a unique opportunity to view Antony Gormley’s “Inside Australia” sculptures. On this day tour you will leave Kalgoorlie-Boulder and drive through the beautiful examples of Salmon Gums, Gimlets and Black Butts. Pass through Goongarrie Station, the Sand Queen Gold Mine and arrive in Menzies and Lake Ballard were you can view any of the 51 sculptures on offer. Enjoy lunch at the Menzies Hotel (own cost), before heading back to Kalgoorlie-Boulder in the late afternoon.
Kalgoorlie to Perth
Begin the homeward stretch back to Perth and enjoy the rainbow of colors produced by wildflowers between July to November.
