Glasshouse Mountains Walk - 1 day
Trek to the striking and imposing summits of Beerwah or Tibrogargen. The views as we make our way to the top are simply breath taking. Experience the amazing elation of standing on the summit overlooking the surrounding countryside. The buzz will stay with you for a lifetime.
This trek takes us through open eucalypt woodland and mountain heath vegetation, providing plenty of opportunity to observe an interesting variety of flora and fauna along the way, including 26 rare and threatened plants that exist in the region. There are pockets of closed forest and tall turpentine trees, small cave systems, outcrops of volcanic rock and spectacular views.
Itinerary:
- 7.30am - Meet your Guide
- 7.50am - Drive to the base of the mountain
- 8.00am - Briefing and begin trek to the summit
- 1.00pm - Return

* Your guides will allow plenty of time to complete your walk in daylight. It may be possible that due to slow progress or changes in weather, a call is made by your guide to abandon the summit for the day.
