Margaret River Region is one of Australia’s best kept secrets. This is home to fine boutique wineries and gourmet food producers, old growth forests, spectacular caves, high quality art and craft galleries and natural scenic beauty. Busselton and Margaret River are ideal bases to discover the spectacular coastline, view surfing and sailboard action, go wine tasting at award winning wineries, check out the local artisans and their wares or get adventurous by going underground to explore one of the area's many limestone caves. The surf at Margaret River is legendary with surfers world-wide, and is home to the annual Salomon Masters competition.

Pemberton & Walpole are located in the heart of Karri Country. One of Pemberton’s main attractions is its numerous forest drives. Karri trees grow up to 80 metres high and are the second biggest trees in the world, directly related to the Californian Redwoods. In Pemberton, the Gloucester Tree, Bicentennial Tree and Diamond Tree, formerly fire lookouts, offer visitors a thrilling climbing experience. Be warned, it’s one way up and back and not for the faint-hearted. Another exhilarating experience is the Tree Top Walk at the Valley of the Giants near Walpole. The walk is 600 metres long and 40 metres high at its highest point. Again this attraction is for those with a head for heights and a love for stunning vistas. Not a fan of heights? Take a walk along the forest floor along a series of pathways and walk through the trunks of these amazing trees.

The Great Southern is a region of wildflowers, wines and whales, with spectacular natural scenery ranging from majestic mountain ranges to a magnificent coastline. The historic town of Albany is the site of Western Australia’s first settlement, nearby along the coast are the dramatic rock formations of The Gap and Natural Bridge.
