Thank you First Light Travel!!! (especial thanks to Verity and Brent). New Zealand is a wonderful place that has SO MUCH to offer. FLT helped navigate through all the best adventures we had our heart set on. I loved having the voucher packet and the independence of being on our own on the open roads with a rental car (with the reassurance that we had someone looking out for us). We had some weather issues but were able to make the best of it because Verity/Brent were available to help us change plans (even last minute over New Years!). We accomplished a heroic amount in two weeks: both islands 10+ activities in different cities. We had so much fun! Yay for FLT!

With the help of First Light Travel, our trip to New Zealand turned out to be the vacation we always have dreamed about. Everything was taken care of before we boarded on our plane: accomodations, rental car, excursions etc. We just had to enjoy our holiday, and we did, big time! Even when we couldn't make it to Franz Jozef due to flooding, First Light Travel made sure we wouldn't have to worry about our accomodation that night. Within a half an hour, it was taken care of!

Great, that we found First Light Travel. We save a lot of time and money. It was easy to prepare our plan. Just couple emails and we were ready to go. We checked the prices on the way and since we used First Light Travel, we paid less, than we would paid, if we booked that ourself. We had a really great trip and a lot of it was due to Suzies knowledge of New Zealand and her ability to customize our particular requirements. The pace of our trip turned out to be perfect as we covered a lot of ground in a very short period of time but didn't feel rushed.

She was available when we ran into trouble due to illness and an act of God. She went out of her way to help us out and to work refund issues with one of the tour operators. She was of immense help in rejigging when the Milford Road was closed and through phone calls and emails guided us as to replan our last two days in Fiordland. What could have been a huge disappointment turned out to be two of the best days of our trip. One can not underestimate the importance of the service provided by First Light once we began our tour.

All in all, a great and memorable trip. Thanks Suzie and First Light.

Our trip to the North and South Islands was a trip of a lifetime, thanks to Shelley! Our itinerary was perfectly planned and paced. Our first week was organized around the Milford Track Guided Walk with Ultimate Hikes, and we traveled up the South Island before concluding our trip sightseeing in Rotorua and Auckland on the North Island. Our itinerary was the most detailed we've seen, replete with suggested activities, descriptions of our accommodations (including the owners' names-very helpful), and information about Air New Zealand baggage limits. The travel and activity vouchers made our trip a snap, and our accommodations were expertly hand-picked. Shelley was wonderful to work with. She was responsive, detailed, and quick to answer our numerous questions.

We would definitely recommend Shelley and would enjoy working with her again!
