Each of these farmer's markets in the Margaret River Region showcases the best of the region's produce and provides a glimpse into the local way of life. Margaret River Farmers’ Market

The Margaret River Farmers’ Market is a must-visit for any food lover. Held every Saturday morning, this market offers a huge variety of fresh, locally grown produce. From crisp apples and juicy oranges to leafy greens and root vegetables, it’s the perfect place to stock up on some fresh goods. You'll also find stalls selling fresh bread, artisan cheese, free-range eggs, and organic meat. The friendly stallholders, many of whom are the farmers themselves, are always ready to share their knowledge and passion for their produce.

The Shed Market

Chris and Donna Carlyle founded The Shed Market after a trip to South Africa where they visited an Earth Food Fair Market in Cape Town. They set up their market to help share this celebration of food. You want to arrive at these markets nice and hungry and head straight to Eat Street where you can find plenty of dishes to enjoy then and there. Visit every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and be on the lookout for their regular pop-up craft markets as well.

Bunbury Farmers Market

The Bunbury Farmers Market started back in 2003 and has grown since then, but their philosophy remains the same: to provide customers with extreme value and extreme freshness. 90% of the fresh fruit and vegetables you come across at the markets were in the ground just two days earlier, with the majority coming from local growers down the road. They also have fresh salmon flown in from Tasmania three times a week which is well worth a taste.

Night Markets in Margaret River

Yallingup Twilight Markets

Held every Wednesday night during the summer season, head along to Caves House Hotel in Yallingup for their twilight markets from 5.30pm to 8.30pm. Enjoy entertainment from their live musicians as you browse what's on offer and sit down for a bite to eat and a refreshing drink when you’re done shopping.

Craft & Design Markets in Margaret River

Art and craft markets are the perfect opportunity to check out the local talent and snatch up a souvenir or two to bring home with you. Discover unique handmade goods, meet local artisans, and support the local creative community.

Margaret River Town Square Markets

The Town Square Market is a family-friendly place to shop that has been running since 1986. You will find a variety of arts and crafts, woodwork, jewellery, clothing, jams, honey, candles, handmade goods and more, all against a backdrop of live music. Enjoy them every Sunday from December until the end of April and then twice a month and public holidays at other times, from 8am to 12.30pm at the Margaret River Town Square. 

Busselton Foreshore Markets

You’ll find a little bit of everything at the Busselton Foreshore Markets, from crafts, local art and clothing to regional produce and some delicious food trucks to feast on. Ideally located along the foreshore precinct at Signal Park, it’s a great place to take a wander on a Sunday morning.

Community Markets in the Margaret River Region

One of the best parts about travelling is immersing yourself in the local community and getting to know the people. Community markets are the perfect way to see this side of a town. Head along ready for a chat and make sure you spend plenty of time checking out all the eclectic goods on offer.

Augusta Market at the River

Located in the friendly town of Augusta, just south of Margaret River, the Augusta Markets are held every Saturday and feature a variety of stalls selling local produce, homemade goods, plants, and crafts. The markets are set against the stunning backdrop of the Savannah River, making for a truly enjoyable shopping experience with live music drifting through the air. 

Busselton Community Garden Market

A short drive from Margaret River, the Busselton Community Garden Market is another excellent place to explore. Held every second and fourth Saturday of each month, this market is located in a beautiful community garden and features a range of local products, from fresh produce and plants to homemade goods and crafts. 

Origins Market

With more than 60 makers, growers, producers and artisans including bakers, brewers, winemakers, fruit & veggie growers, and baristas… you’ll find everything in one handy location. Join them from Thursday to Sunday and stock up on delicious local food and enjoy something tasty from one of the food trucks. Kids can run around at the nature playground with art by Ian Mutch.

Country Markets in Margaret River

On a trip to Margaret River, there’s nothing better than getting out and about and checking out some of the local country towns nearby. These markets are the perfect excuse to get out for a drive, engage with the local community, sample local food, and discover unique items. 

Nannup Markets

The Nannup Country Markets offer a delightful rural market experience. Held fortnightly on a Saturday from 8.30am to 12pm, you'll find stalls laden with fresh local produce, homemade preserves, and baked goods, as well as plants, crafts, and antiques. The markets are set in the picturesque town of Nannup, known for its historic buildings and beautiful gardens.

Boyanup Farmers Market

The Boyanup Farmers Market, held on the fourth Sunday of every month from 8am to 12pm, is another country market worth visiting. Located in the historic town of Boyanup, this market offers a range of fresh local produce, from fruits and vegetables to dairy products and meats and seafood. You'll also find homemade goods like bread, cakes, and preserves, as well as local honey and olive oil. The market is set in a beautiful park, providing a relaxed and enjoyable shopping experience. There are also two coffee vans where you can grab your morning pick-me-up, and even buy the freshly roasted coffee beans to take home with you. 

Vasse Markets

The Vasse Markets are one of the oldest markets held in South West WA. They are held on the first and third Saturday of every month and more than 75% of stallholders sell what they have grown or made themselves. Located in the rural town of Vasse, these markets feature a wide range of goods, from fresh local produce and homemade food to plants, crafts, and second-hand items. The markets also offer a variety of food stalls, where you can sample local cuisine and enjoy a hearty breakfast or lunch. It’s just a quick 30-minute trip from Margaret River to check out all the goods on offer.

Dunsborough Lions Market

Dunsborough Lions Club hosts a monthly market on the 4th Saturday of the month, from September to April each year. There are 65 stalls selling various items, including fruit and vegetables, jewellery, candles, kids’ toys, clothing, speciality foods and cakes, plants and plenty more. They always have the BBQ fired up for a tasty bite while you wander, with the best value breakfast in town. 

Bric-a-Brac and Flea Markets in Margaret River

One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. This is never more true than at a flea market. It’s the ideal opportunity to browse a range of antiques and other second-hand goods that you might be able to repurpose and give another life to.

Busselton Rotary Markets

A short drive from Margaret River, the Busselton Rotary Market is held on the second and fourth Sunday of each month at Signal Park. This market features a wide range of items, from antiques and collectables to second-hand goods and bric-a-brac. The market is set in a large outdoor area, providing plenty of space to browse and hunt for treasures. You will also find plenty of local produce, including fruit, vegetables, honey, chocolate, olive oil, plants and flowers.
